OTTAWA - North Bay Battalion centre Jamie Lewis has been suspended eight games for an anti-doping violation. A urine sample collected during in-competition doping control in May revealed the presence of methylhexaneamine, a prohibited stimulant, according to the Canadian Hockey League and the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport. Under the rules of the CHL anti-doping policy, the 19-year-old was assessed the eight-game suspension for a first violation for using a prohibited substance.
